Manual insert – action required

After installation of the Glider Canopy Flasher, the operating instructions and safety information provided below should be printed and inserted into the aircraft Flight Manual or Pilot’s Operating Handbook for that glider.

What you need to do

• Download and print all pages of the document.
• Insert the printed pages into the glider’s aircraft manual.
• Keep the document with the aircraft manual and available to every pilot operating the glider.
• Ensure that pilots read and understand the operating instructions and safety warnings before using the Glider Canopy Flasher.
• If a newer revision is issued, remove the previous version and replace it with the current document.

Important: The manual insert must remain with the glider to which the Glider Canopy Flasher is fitted. It should not be stored separately or retained only in electronic form.
